                        <description><![CDATA[Pre-Sales Engineer
Our client, a leading developer and marketer of Security Video management software and solutions, is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support its sales efforts in the metropolitan New York-New Jersey territory.
This is a virtual office position. Candidates must be prepared to travel within the territory regularly and to travel frequently into New York City for client meetings.
The Pre-Sales Engineer will provide sales executives with technical solutions to meet potential and existing customer requirements by recommending our client&apos;s products, developing prototype and proof-of-concept (POC) solutions, integrating 3rd party products, and by forming and utilizing strategic technology alliances.
Responsibilities:
- Assist sales executives by answering technical questions, making technical presentations, and managing customer trials through phone, e-mail, and on-site visits.
- Support targeted sales opportunities and perform customer product demonstrations.
- Provide pre and post-sales technical support for new and existing customers.
- Train select channel partners on how to use and sell the firms products.
- Participate and assist in developing RFP, RFI, and RFQ (Bids and proposals) responses.
- Report on product deficiencies and issues.
- Provide feedback on new product releases.
- Create prototype and proof-of-concept solutions using the firms software platform.
- Report on possible opportunities that require joint development with another partner.
- Evaluate technical and business merits of other third party devices and applications.
- Assist senior management with strategic partnership programs by providing technical and business assessments of potential partnerships and solutions.
- Make recommendations as to implementation of joint development and marketing activities with partners and opportunities.
- Provide tradeshow support.
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:
- College or university degree or equivalent in a business or technical discipline.
- 5 years business experience, including some type of customer-facing project, such as sales support or project management.
- Strong knowledge of the video security, audio-visual, telecom industry, trends, networking, audio/video streaming required.
- Experience in CCTV/DVR/ Security video networking equipment, client/server knowledge with Windows, protocols â MPEG, SONET, IP, ATM, IGMP, Ethernet required. 
- Must possess strong communication (written and oral) skills; ability to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel in an organization, including technical and executive. 
- Strong presentation and people skills is a must. 
- Travel of 50%, within the US and Canada is required.
Computer Application Skills: 
- Must be proficient in Visio, AutoCAD, MS Project, and general MS Office applications.

Job Title:
Manager, Program Management
Job Summary: 
The Manager, Program Management brings excellent relationship building skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills, to lead diverse and dynamic teams in the successful delivery of complex integrated client solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Primary Responsibilities: 
Oversee the development of project estimations and integrated project plans, ensuring key roles and responsibilities are defined. 
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope throughout the project lifecycle. Identifies and manage project issues.
Set project quality and performance standards. Assess and manage risk over the project lifecycle. 
Build and organize project teams (ranging in size from 15-25) to ensure maximum performance. 
Provide day-to-day project contact for the client (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.). 
Participate and assists in key company events, such as training and internal initiatives and recruitment support.
Experience Guidelines
5-10 years of industry experience
2+ years project management experience in successfully delivering internet solutions, preferably in a global client-service organization 
Led diverse teams of 10 or more people in dynamic and fast-paced environments 
Accountability for budget or client revenue of $3mm or higher 
1-2 years of client management experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships (preferably at the executive level)
Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery 
Led teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, creative, and strategy) 
Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ or more individuals 
Experience using object oriented design and development methodologies preferred Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MS Project; knowledge of Visio
Frequent travel may be required.
