Salary Information: 
Level I: $3,024.08 to $3,676.58 monthly 
Level II: $3,779.25 to $4,595.33 monthly
This is a single classification with two (2) salary levels. Level I is the level at which initial appointments to Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator are typically made; and advancement from the lower to the higher level of the class is at the discretion of the appointing authority, provided the minimum qualifications are met.

Incumbents in this class provide for, manage, and/or coordinate daily living arrangements, medical/dental/mental health services, and protection and advocacy for individuals (conservatees) found to be legally unable to do so for themselves. Incumbents also apply on behalf of conservatees for public assistance and other benefits, as well as, manage and coordinate all other assets of the disabled individual. Incumbents in this class may also administer decedent estates under the Countyâs Public Administrator program, which may include searching for next-of-kin and making final disposition for decedents found to have no next-of-kin. 
This is a single class with two salary levels, Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator (Level I) and Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator (Level II). The level at which appointments are made, and advancement from the lower to the higher level, is at the discretion of the appointing authority provided the minimum qualifications are met. 
Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator (Level II) is the journey level in the class, performing the full range of duties at a high level of independence under general supervision. It is distinguished from the next higher level of classification, which is supervisory. 
Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator (Level I) is the entry level in the class. Under closer supervision, incumbents learn and perform public guardian/conservator duties including interpretation and application of the applicable provisions of laws, codes, and regulations, such as the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act, Welfare and Institutions Code, and Probate Code. Incumbents perform the same duties as a Level II, but work with less efficiency and proficiency and greater supervision. As experience and proficiency are gained and documented, incumbents operate with less supervision, and may advance to Level II at the discretion of the appointing authority, provided the minimum qualifications are met.
Knowledge Of Laws, codes, regulations, and policies pertaining to public guardian, conservator, and administrator functions, including the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act and applicable provisions of the Probate, Welfare and Institutions, and Health and Safety codes

Minimum Qualifications: 
Level II
Either: 1. One year of experience performing the duties of Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator (Level I) in Sacramento County service. 
Or: 2. Two years of experience at another agency performing duties equivalent to Sacramento Countyâs Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator. 
Or: 3. A masterâs degree from an accredited college or university in social work, business administration, public administration, finance, sociology, psychology, or a closely related field. 
Or: 4. Completion of all course work leading to a jurist doctorate or LLD (doctor of laws) from an accredited law school. 
Or: 5. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant 
And: Two years experience in the management of fiscal assets for estates or individuals. 
Or: 6. Any of the patterns of education and experience identified for Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator (Level I) 
And: Two additional years experience related to the duties of Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator (Level I) 
Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator Level I: 
Either: 1. Completion of all major course work from an accredited four-year college or university required for a bachelorâs degree or higher in social work, business or public administration, finance, psychology, sociology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field. 
Or: 2. Two years of college level course work in social work, psychology, sociology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field. 
And: Two years of experience in social work, mental health, psychology, or a closely related field. 
Or: 3. Two years of college level course work in business or public administration, finance, or a closely related field. 
And: Two years of experience in the management of fiscal assets for estates or individuals, or the management of investments. 
Or: 4. Completion of accredited training as a paralegal. 
And: Two years of experience as a paralegal in a practice that emphasized estate and fiscal administration. 
Or: 5. Possession of licensure as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Psychiatric Technician, Licensed Vocation Nurse. 
And: Two years of experience in the licensed capacity working with psychiatric patients, which has included some work with geriatrics. 
Note: To compute substitution of qualifying experience and education, 3 semester units or 4.5 quarter units = 1 month work; to compute full-time equivalency of part-time or unpaid experience: 173.3 hours = 21.7 days = 1 work month. 
Document Required with Application: Copies of transcripts or diploma identifying completion of required coursework MUST be submitted with the application. 
NOTE: Failure to submit proof of educational requirements will result in disqualification from the examination. 
LicenseRequirements: Possession of a valid Class C California Driver License is required at the time of appointment. Note: Failure to obtain and/or maintain such required license may be cause for disciplinary action in accordance with Civil Service Commission Rules or applicable bargaining agreement. 
Other Special Requirements: 
1. Candidate will need to pass the security clearance investigation and be fingerprinted for purposes of search of local, state, and national fingerprint files to disclose any criminal record. 
2. Willingness to work with and around potentially dangerous mentally and emotionally disturbed persons, and in exposure to substandard living areas including animal waste, vermin, odors, and other contaminants. 
3. Willingness to be called in crisis situations at irregular hours other than normal working hours including weekends and holidays. 
4. Ability to lift and carry for short distances items up to 25 pounds, such as a radio, a small television, or boxes containing clothing or personal items. 
Probationary Period: The probationary period for this classification is twelve (12) months.
Testing Process
Minimum Qualifications â To be accepted into the testing process, the information submitted on the application must clearly demonstrate that the applicant meets the required minimum qualifications by the cut-off date. Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications by the final filing date will advance to the next testing phase â the Training   Experience Evaluation Exam. 
Formula Rate (Training   Experience Evaluation) Exam â The evaluation of the candidateâs relevant experience, education and training, as shown in response to the Training   Experience Evaluation supplemental questions, weighted 100%. A panel of subject matter experts will only evaluate the responses to the Training   Experience Evaluation supplemental questions in this job announcement. All candidates successful in the testing process will be notified by mail of their score and ranking and placed on the eligible list in rank order. The rank is determined by the test score attained from the evaluation of the candidateâs responses to the Training   Experience Evaluation supplemental questionnaire.

Intercompany: 
Overall responsible to review intercompany activities; ensure for proper elimination and consolidation
Book monthly balance transfers per instruction from treasury
Overall responsible to review intercompany loan activities to ensure interests accrual, balance pay off, and ultimately for proper elimination
Specific payments made on behalf of other entities based on AP reports and bank statement
Research and answer all questions in relates to intercompany discrepancy

Description
Responsibilities:
Be part of an exciting Technical Services (TS) IT team that is making things happen on an enterprise scale. As a member of the TS IT team, you will be responsible for owning and managing the day to day finance operations of key TS IT Projects (Strategic and Tactical Projects). You will be the pivotal finance liaison between the portfolio and project delivery teams and the subscribing clients who are predominantly in the finance community. This is a unique project accounting role where the individual will need to navigate and operate between financial planning and reporting, systems operations, and project managements. Primary responsibilities include: 
Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both the strategic and tactical projects in TS IT, and financial contents reported by them
Develop relationships/partner with the TS Finance team to understand business challenges and needs looking at processes and tools for possible solutions
Partner with other IT teams and data owners to ensure stable system operations and data integrity
Serve as primary contact person for month end and quarter end close activities or planning cycle issues related to TS IT Projects

Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will meet the following requirements: 
Familiarity with the company&apos;s financial tool such as FETCH, PlanIT, etc.
Strong system and process skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to drive results
Ability to contribute as an individual with minimum supervision while demonstrating strong partner and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines
Experiences in business finance or general accounting is a strong plus
Project or program management experience is desired

Adecco is looking for highly skilled financial professionals to work for our client as a Senior International Accountant. This position requires someone who can work with cost plus accounting, capital injection, and intercompany responisilities. The right person can be expected to engage in the following: 
Review system cost plus calculation and bookings. Work with consolidation to resolve differences. 
Manually calculate and book cost plus for exceptional entities. 
Review all intercompany accounts reconciliation. 
Oversee cost plus at consolidated level to ensure no difference before elimination. 
Provide cost plus reports to subsidiaries, Tax and Treasury after close. 
Research and respond to all cost plus related questions. 
Review and reconcile Transfer Pricing accounts 
Book monthly balance transfers per instruction from Treasury. 
Overall responsible for reviewing intercompany loan activities to ensure interests accrual, balance pay off and ultimately for proper elimination. 
Book Inc. payments made on behalf of other entities based on AP reports and bank statement.

Requirements

Oracle 
Hyperion Essbase 
In-depth understanding of FX exposure from intercompany transactions 
Excel (advanced)
