Chevron Pipeline Company is accepting online applications for multiple positions of Pipeline Engineer/Project Manager. These positions could be located in Covington, LA, Salt Lake City, UT, Bakersfield, CA, or Houston, TX. 
The Pipeline Field Engineer has a broad scope of responsibilities in design, construction, operations, maintenance, integrity and modification of pipeline transportation and storage facilities. Pipeline functional support includes corrosion prevention, reliability, energy management and routine operation support of electric power systems, civil/structural equipment, fixed and rotating mechanical equipment and instrumentation and controls.
Position Details
: 
Pipeline Field Engineer:
The successful candidate will provide engineering technical support, operational support and project management for field services. Job activities consisting of but not limited to the monitoring operations, problem solving, improving pipeline systems, working small capital and maintenance projects. All work assignments will require compliance with pipeline safety standards, adherence to applicable codes and regulations, management of change and existing company standards. This position requires well-balanced interpersonal skills, strong facility knowledge, project management skills and a strong customer focus. The person selected will have a geographic area of responsibility Continental US and Canada with travel potential up to 20%. 
Pipeline Project Manager:
Provide engineering and project management services. Job activities include leading several medium to large capital and maintenance projects. Work activities will include project scoping, cost and schedule estimating, evaluation of alternatives, hydraulic analysis, engineering design, procurement, environmental and permit coordination, contracting and construction management. All work assignments require compliance with pipeline safety standards, adherence to applicable codes and regulations, management of change and existing company standards. This position requires well-balanced interpersonal skills, strong facility knowledge, project management skills and a strong customer focus. The person selected will have a geographic area of responsibility - Continental US, Canada and possible international job assignment. Travel potential up to 20%.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. All applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years gas and liquid pipeline experience with a demonstrated history of project management skills, planning, managing multiple tasks, application of CPDEP (structured project management approach) and successful completion of projects in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Experience with pipeline assets in urban, rural and environmentally sensitive areas is desirable.
2. Provide technical support to CPL Operations (Field Team members, Field Team Leader and Operations Specialist). This work shall include all appropriate calculations, documentation and recommendations. Examples include hydrotest, setting relief valves (PSVs), high pressure shutdowns, field connections, MOP studies, hydraulic analysis, surge analysis, pipeline capacity evaluations, design and installation of new connections, managing line relocations / lowering, managing routine /emergency pipeline repairs, the abandonment of facilities and pipelines, and technical input to Operations Manual as requested.
3. Function independently as a technical consultant for field team for interpretations on various codes, laws and regulations. Included are DOT, DOI, CPSA, ASME, ANSI, API, NEC and Chevron design standards and manuals. Provide consultation for requests from communities, states and /or federal regulatory agencies. Assist with System Integrity Reviews. 
4. Provide facility and pipeline project management services for CPL operated systems on projects typically less than $1MM. Typical activities include project scoping, cost estimating, evaluation of alternatives, hydraulic analysis, procurement, environmental and permit coordination, contracting and construction management and ensuring that vital records are kept current.
5. Provide technical consultation and project development services to Business Development for regional business opportunities. This includes pre-AFE studies for new opportunities, hydraulic analysis, cost estimates, technical feasibility studies, etc.
6. Responsible for setting up projects in SAP (financial control system), reviewing project expense data and managing all project expenditures and commitments. Frequent communications with Field Team Leaders and preparation of monthly status reports are required.
7. Will participate as an active member of the Engineering Team providing input to short and long term strategies, budgets, key objectives, metrics and plans for organization. Share responsibility for Team expense budget and metric performance. Provide input and demonstrate support.
Basic Qualifications:
- This job is defined as a safety sensitive position in accordance with DOT regulations, and is subject to random drug testing. Candidates who are not currently in safety sensitive positions will be required to pass a drug test prior to placement in the job.
- Relocation expenses will be a consideration in the selection process.
- It is a requirement that candidates have liquid and gas pipeline experience. 
- All candidates must have a good driving record without any accidents in the last 3 years.
- Bachelors degree is required, preferred in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical where applicable.
Selection Criteria:
- Pipeline Industry Knowledge: At least 5 years of experience in the liquid pipeline industry and demonstrated knowledge of pipeline engineering principles and practices is required.
- Project Planning: Must have demonstrated ability to prepare facility/pipeline project cost estimates, project schedules, conduct scoping/feasibility studies, manage projects and perform hydraulic analyses.
- Interpersonal Behaviors: Must work constructively with others (inside and outside of Company) to achieve positive results. Must always act with the highest honesty and integrity, accept constructive feedback and use recognition. Must work effectively in a team environment.
- Health, Environment and Safety Management: Must have demonstrated skills and experience in managing projects safely and without environmental impact.
- Multiple Work Activities: Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, schedule and manage multiple work activities (projects) to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Leadership: Demonstrates Leadership in managing people and processes. Include examples of how you lead change and the outcome or results of the change.

The CH2M HILL Albuquerque, NM office is seeking a Structural Engineer 4 to design structures while working in the environment of a multi-discipline team. 
Typical projects include designing industrial buildings, miscellaneous steel support structures, concrete foundations, equipment seismic restraint design, and retrofitting existing structures. Material design is mainly steel and concrete but may also include masonry. 
In this position you will be required to:
