SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Bridge Section Manager, the Senior Bridge Engineer will lead Bridge Engineering Teams and direct the work of other engineers and technical staff in the development and delivery of structural and bridge projects and will participate in the hiring of staff necessary to carry out the production of structural and bridge design. The Senior Bridge Engineer must have a knowledge of current design codes and standards and the ability to develop structural and bridge engineering designs related to projects within the Infrastructure Division. 
DUTIES
Duties include the establishment of the goals and objectives for the Bridge Engineering Teams; assist the Bridge Section Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of a Strategic Marketing Plan for the Bridge Section; tracking and reporting of project schedules and budgets; assist the Bridge Section Manager in the development of an annual budget for the Bridge Section; and the ability to provide monthly project status reports to the Infrastructure Division Managing Director and Infrastructure Group Manager.
The Senior Bridge Engineer will provide effective leadership and common vision for the staff; assist the Bridge Section Manager in the recruitment and management of profession staff under the direction of the Bridge Section Manager which may includes screening, selection, assessing and recommending staff training and development; and evaluating staff performance.
The Senior Bridge Engineer will assist the Bridge Section Manager to interface with the Roadway Section Leader and the Site Development and Design Section Leader and their staff on projects in order to provided effective communication, cooperation and continuity between teams and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Accredited Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, MSCE preferred.
Experience
Comprehensive knowledge of bridges, structures, management, and marketing.
Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal regulations and standards related to the development of Structural and Bridge Plans.
Minimum 8-10 years experience preferably within the transportation industry with emphasis on bridge design and structural engineering.
Experience in personnel management, budgeting and scheduling desired.
Experience in development and design of major highway transportation projects.
Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oklahoma or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Environmental Engineer or Scientist to join a world recognized leader in the support of environmental projects for government and private clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented geologist, hydrogeologist, environmental scientist, or civil/environmental engineer to work with a well established team and technically diverse team of geologist, hydrogeologists, engineers and scientists on federal, commercial and industrial projects. This is an entry/junior-level position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for completing technical tasks associated with site management (characterization assessment and remediation of contaminated media at hazardous and solid waste sites) projects. These tasks would include a mixture of fieldwork, data evaluation and report writing responsibilities. 
More specifically, key responsibilities would include: 
1) Field Team Member - assisting more experienced Field Team Leader in the planning and implementing field investigations (writing and preparation of work plans and sampling plans, fieldwork logistiscs, coordination with subcontractors, logging of boreholes, sampling of environmental media, installation and sampling of groundwater monitoring wells, and hydrogeologic testing); coordinating with subcontractors, emphasizing health and safety as well as technical quality. 
2) Data Evaluation - analyzing and interpreting geologic, hydrogeologic and environmental chemisty data. 
3) Report Writing - writing and preparation of environmental reports, technical memoranda and developing presentations. 
The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft software applications, and have experience working with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The individual should also be well organized, detail-orientated, be able to follow instructions and be able to communicate with staff to understand assignments or seek clarification if neccessary. The individual should have the attributes to become a strong consultant (i.e., team-player, eager to learn and grow, self-starter that takes initiative, versatile, and has a service mentality). 
The successful candidate will have the ability to learn quickly, analyze problems and assess alternative solutions, and organize multiple responsibilities with an emphasis on quality, and reliability. 
Candidates that have completed applicable internships are preferred, and OSHA 40HR HAZWOPER training is a requirement (training will be provided). EIT licenses are a plus. 
Education: B.S. degree in geology, engineering or the sciences.
