You must have 15 years of progressive professional experience and an advanced degree in Civil, Geotechnical or related engineering. You must be able to mentor junior engineering staff and integrate geotechnical work with other disciplines as part of a design build team. The Energy, Environment and Infrastructure (E2I) Business Unit currently has an opening for a Junior Energy Engineer. This position will provide policy/programmatic/analytical support to program/project managers in the area of energy systems analysis, advanced environmental control, and water resource technologies for fossil-fuel power generation. The job location is in Pittsburgh in South Park Township, PA. This position is contingent upon funding from our client. Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assignments will include a broad range of technical services including data research development, data analysis, support studies, and report/presentation development. The job entails providing technical/economic evaluation of power system and environmental control technologies for existing and advanced power generation technologies. Perform systems analysis studies of advanced fossil energy fueled power generation technologies and related environmental control technologies. Develop and lead studies on fossil energy resources and usage studies. Team with senior SAIC personnel to develop novel technology evaluations for advanced power and environmental control programs such as coal gasification and carbon sequestration. 
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline is required. This is an entry level position requiring less than 5 years experience. It requires a high degree of intellectual and analytical skills, the ability to work independently, as well as in a structured team environment with onsite and/or offsite federal and other technical services contractors, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with often overlapping and conflicting deadlines. Candidate must be proficient with use of PC-based software programs such as MS office suite and other database software. Very strong presentation and written communication skills are necessary. 
DESIRED SKILLS: Experience in systems or policy analysis of energy supply and environmental control is highly desired, but not necessary. Experience should also include performance/economic analysis, and environmental impact assessment of advanced environmental control technologies. Knowledge of environmental policy and regulatory topics considered a plus. It is also desirable for applicant to have experience in computer programming.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform as a liaison systems engineer interfacing between Letterkenny Army Depot, AMCOM Missile Project offices, and the Engineering Directorate, AMRDEC, in support of the validation and migration of the Repair Bill Of Material (RBOM) to the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). Will be responsible for development, modification and evaluation of electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for hardware systems and other systems as well as th BOMs for major maintenance and overhauling work efforts. Conducts experimental tests on equipment and evaluates results. Develops specifications for selecting components and equipment to use. Works on extremely complex problems. Establishes operational objectives and assignments. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments. May manage and be responsible for staff development and supervision. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies which affect immediate operation(s) and may also have a company-wide effect. Regularly interacts with senior or executive management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. 
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelor&apos;s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 8+ years of related experience. Experience in missile weapon systems, depot maintenance and overhaul, configuration management, and failure analysis is preferred but not required. There will be a heavy emphasis on LTPO RBOMs. Candidate will be required to resolve issues that surface during validation of LEAD/AMCOM RBOMs and will provide a direct link to AMCOM/AMRDEC organizations. 
DESIRED SKILLS: Missile maintenance experience focused on maintenance and overhauling of weapon systems particularly dealing with the configuration management of the Bills of Material (BOM) for maintenance requirements. Experience with Patriots missiles and related Radar units is a major plus.

Purpose:

Incumbent will be responsible for design and analysis of foundations and structures for facilities designed by the Plant Design Group.
