Job Description: 
This Architecture Sr. Specialist will lead design on large scale projects, providing the highest level of expertise in developing innovative and comprehensive solutions for the most diverse and most complex business problems. 
Looking for the following background: 
1. Reinsurance experience is required 
2. Billing Systems 
3. Portfolio Architect exposure 
4. Solutions Lead 
5. Insurance background 
6. Financial Systems 
Requied skills: 
1. Experience in Reinsurance claim and premium processing; both business processes and systems supporting same. 
2. Experience in design and implementation of data warehousing solutions. 
3. Ability to lead teams on large scale projects. 
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal and consultative skills to work effectively with vendors, clients, peers, and IT management and staff. 
5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
6. A senior level knowledge of the system development life cycle, and system and application program development technological alternatives and architecture methodologies for multi-platform environments. 
7. Proven facilitation and requirements gathering skills. 
8. Strong knowledge of Project Management principles and project leadership skills. Demonstrated abilities to lead multiple sub-teams, coordinate their work, and facilitate working sessions and ability to communicate with senior level management throughout the organization. 
10. Technical knowledge of high level programming languages, databases, interfaces and familiarity with application development alternatives. 
11. Technical knowledge of design and implementation of enterprise workflow systems, distributed architectures, intranet/internet architectures and common architectures.

Description
Workers&apos; Compensation Claims Specialist / Examiner / Analyst /Adjuster
Analyzes and processes complex or technically difficult claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim; manages claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution. 
Â Assesses liability and resolve claims within evaluation. 
Negotiates settlement of claims up to designated authority level. 
Calculates and assigns timely and appropriate reserves to claims; monitors reserve 
adequacy throughout the life of the claim. 
Calculates and pays benefits due; approves and makes timely claim payments and adjustments; and settles claims within designated authority level. 
Prepares necessary state filings within statutory limits. 
Manages the litigation process; ensures timely and cost effective claims resolution. 
Coordinates vendor referrals for additional investigation and/or litigation management. 
Uses appropriate cost containment techniques including strategic vendor partnerships to reduce overall cost of claims for our clients. 
Manages claim recoveries, including but not limited to subrogation, Second Injury Fund recoveries and Social Security offsets. 
Reports claims to the excess carrier; responds to requests of directions in a professional and timely manner. 
Communicates claim activity and processing with the ill or injured party and the client; maintains professional client relationships.
Ensures claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
Refers cases as appropriate to supervisor and management. 
Maintains a quality assurance program to support the Total Performance Management initiative and the consistent delivery of quality claims service.Â

Â 
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Licenses as required. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
Â Â In-depth knowledge of appropriate insurance principles and laws for line-of-business 
handled, recoveries offsets and deductions, claim and disability duration, cost containment principles including medical management practices and Social Security application procedures as applicable to line-of-business.Â 
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills

PC literate, including Microsoft Office productsÂ

Strong organizational skills
