Job Description
Financial Services Representatives are responsible for the marketing and sale of products through MetLife and/or the 42 Companies that comprise the Enterprise General Agency (EGA), including Life Insurance, Disability Income Insurance, Long-Term Care Insurance, Annuities, Mutual Funds and small business products.Â Financial Services Representatives are also responsible for meeting the service needs of customers/policyholders.
Â Principal Responsibilities 
Â Â 
Responsible for the appropriateness of all products sold to customers.
Â 
Prepare a business/marketing plan establishing goals and plans/activities for achieving those goals.Â 
Â 
Prepare individual marketing plan.Â 
Â 
Perform prospecting activities to acquire new clients.Â 
Â 
Conduct fact finders to determine clientsâ financial and insurance needs and design an insurance program for the client.Â 
Â 
Make sales presentations, including options, to clients to obtain a commitment to purchase.Â 
Â 
Provide front line underwriting services for the Company.Â 
Â 
Deliver policies in accordance with Company guidelines; establish relationships with customers to service their needs in a timely and efficient manner.Â

Attend Agency/unit sales meetings and required training sessions.Â

JOB DESCRIPTION Sells all products and services offered by the Company. Requires achievement of a sales quota. Provides efficient, courteous customer service and assistance in all aspects of product offerings and services. Handles customer situations appropriately and escalates as needed. Adheres to Company policy including but not limited to reconciliation of paperwork and daily bank deposits. Responsible for effective management of inventory and company operating systems. GENERAL DUTIES The essential functions listed below are representative of duties performed by this job title. Duties generally include but are not limited to the following: 
GENERAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE NORMALLY REQUIRED: 1. Answers existing and potential customer/client requests for inquiries in the process of purchasing products and services. 2. Responsible for meeting all assigned sales goals. 3. Maintain proficiency in all areas of customer service including billing, retention, and equipment issues and over the counter exchanges. 4. Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers and serve as a single point of contact for their immediate and ongoing needs (i.e. payments, rate analysis and rate changes). 5. Regularly contact customer base via phone calls and written notes. 6. Responsible for ensuring store appearance is clean and presentable at all times. This includes displays and workstation are complete, clean, well mechanized and presentable at all times. 7. Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely, accurately, in a timely manner. 8. Position may be commissioned and quota based. 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR A PARTICULAR JOB: â¢ Work in other locations as the needs of the business dictate. â¢ Complete all aspects of opening and closing the store in accordance with written procedures. Submit all transaction journals on a daily basis. â¢ Assists with inventory maintenance. â¢ May be required to wear a uniform. 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time while servicing customers.
