Description:
This position is a great opportunity for people with prior customer service/call center in distribution. The work environment is professional and customer focused, with call center representatives responsible for handling in-bound sales calls, process customer requests in a timely fashion, recommend alternative products and handle pricing issues. In addition, agents will research and resolve customer complaints, returns and special requests. Also, agents maintain contact with the outside sales force to insure regular communication on pricing issues, customer problems, and other customer service issues. This position is not for individuals simply looking to answer phones and process orders. All interested candidates should be willing to take an active role in fulfilling customer requests and working with team members to deliver consistent quality service. 
Requirements:
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills. 
- Individuals with prior customer service, call center and inside sales experience are preferred. 
- Exposure to lab products and a scientific background is a plus. 
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general PC software. 
We seek the following characteristics from all interested candidates: manage multiple functions, able to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with internal and external customers, must be able to make independent decisions and follow through on job responsibilities with limited supervision, must be self-motivated and have good time-management skills, good follow-through skills, must be well-organized and customer-oriented.
