Job Responsibilities:
The Specialist provides overall project leadership and guidance, ensuring that initiatives remain on schedule and within acceptable parameters. Prepares status reports, assures timeline compliance, assesses risks, and recommends alternative solutions to project issues. Provides direction to the project team members and appropriate communications to customer and account leadership regarding the project. 
TDY associates should expect frequent and regular travel onsite for the duration of the position. This is a contract position with the client that has the opportunity to be extended. 
Required Skills:
5+ years of specific project or program management experience
Proven track record of successful project delivery results 
Ability to accomplish and/or mentor all work within these skills areas with ease, dependability, and repeatability: Project communication management, Project cost management, Project human resource management, Project scope management, Project risk management, Project time management, Project quality management, Project integration management, Project procurement management, Product and vendor management
Advanced proficiency with standard project management toolsâMicrosoft Project, Project Server, all Microsoft Office applications, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including experience with executive-level presentations and interactions 
Experience working within both project-centric and project matrix environments 
Ability to recognize exceptions to documented policy and procedures 
Monitor schedule deviations and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action at the project level 
Working knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools, and techniques 
Desired Skills:
Start up experience on a new account 
PMI membership and participation
IT experience in the applicable industry, such as Healthcare, Government Services, Commercial Services, and Financial Services 
Experience working within an established Program Office environment 
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Advanced university degree - preferred
Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:

Water. It&apos;s a key element to a healthy life. As a Water Treatment Specialist in the Army National Guard, you&apos;ll make sure your fellow Soldiers have clean water and live and work in sanitary conditions.
Water Treatment Specialists are part of the Army National Guard&apos;s environmental health and safety team, using their acquired knowledge and skills to fulfill several vital needs. These skills include site reconnaissance and preparation for water treatment activity, as well as setup of equipment and facilities; operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment; management of potable water supplies; monitoring the storage, transport, and disposal of waste; water quality analysis and testing; and the inspection of facilities and food supplies for the presence of disease, germs, and other environmentally hazardous conditions.
These are skills that are in demand by local, state, and federal government agencies for food and drug inspectors, public health inspectors, health and safety inspectors, and industrial hygienists. So by joining the Army National Guard as a Water Treatment Specialist, you will be preparing yourself for a meaningful civilian career.

Like all the cars out on the road, the Army National Guard can&apos;t run without fuel. And it&apos;s the Petroleum Supply Specialist who makes sure we keep moving. As an Army National Guard Petroleum Supply Specialist you will ensure the proper handling, storage, and shipment of petroleum-based products such as oil, fuel, and compressed gas. These are skills you will learn that could lead directly to a lucrative civilian career with oil refineries, pipeline companies, and tanker truck and ship lines. 
Petroleum Supply Specialists primarily supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum products. This may include operating specialized pumping equipment to load trucks, ships, trains, and aircraft; selecting and submitting samples of petroleum-based products for testing; performing petroleum and water accounting activities; testing petroleum samples for contamination; repairing specialized equipment; and being knowledgeable about facility safety procedures and storage guidelines.
