Financial Analyst â Capital Projects Group â St Gabriel, LA - 889
Role Purpose â 
Act as a Finance Advisor for the Capital Projects Group (CPG) and Supply Chain organization influencing the business strategy and decision making by providing financial expertise and challenging business views. The main focus will be on the development of business cases and capital tracking. The individual will need to quickly gain a broad understanding of Supply Chain processes to be successful in the role. In addition, a key focus will be evaluating and improving CPC processes. The overall goal is to assist the CPG organization in maximizing its financial potential while maintaining the integrity of the financial data.
â¢ Lead the development of financial cases for all NAFTA cost Return on Investment type projects
â¢ Overall regional responsibility for capital forecasting and spend reporting 
â¢ Provide consistent, reporting on capital spending for NAFTA
â¢ Analyze completed projects to evaluate achievement of cost savings benefits
â¢ Ensuring effective procedures are in place to control and account for capital spend
Accountabilities â 
Provide financial leadership and direction to the CPG.
â¢ Provide support to teams developing capital expenditure proposals by challenging project objectives and assumptions to ensure consistent quality and accuracy.
â¢ Lead the development of financially sound business cases (NPV/IRR/ROI) for all NAFTA capital projects, liaising with SC Finance Manager or his Designee on major capital projects
â¢ Provide special financial analyses as requested by CPG management
â¢ Coordinate financial planning for the CPG including the development of long-term strategy, operating budgets, LEâs, etc.
â¢ Ensure the only approved projects are released for capital spending.
â¢ Prepare monthly, quarterly and other reports required by Corporate for capital spending
â¢ Prepare and track ten year tax exemption applications, contracts affidavits and follow up documentation
Knowledge, experience   capabilities â
Critical knowledge:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting
â¢ General knowledge of tax laws pertaining to assets
â¢ Proficiency in SAP asset, investment and projects system modules
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities:
Effective use of Excel, Word and SAP
â¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written) to deal with all levels of the organization.

Online Business Solutions (OBS) is part of Capital One Bank and is responsible for all internet servicing and acquisition activity across the Bankâs lines of business. The Risk and Regulatory Mgmt function (in the National Direct Banking NDB business) is an integral part of the business ensuring that all products and processes meet regulatory requirements in addition to managing risk for the entire business. 
Responsibilities 
The Senior Manager will be responsible for managing risk for Online Business Solutions (OBS). This includes partnering with leadership across OBS as well as with Customer Service and Sales (CSS) counterparts and Enterprise Customer Management (ECM). There may also be opportunities to extend support more broadly to other Banking groups. 
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 
- Conducting periodic risk assessments leveraging corporate tools â [URL Withheld]. Enterprise Risk Self 
- Assessments (ERSA), Risk Mgmt Control Framework (RMCF), etc. 
- Maintaining an ongoing risk mitigation strategy and periodic dashboard reporting 
- Supporting risk management assessments for OBS projects and processes 
- Partnering with all OBS teams 
- Leading OBS Issue Management Team - responsibilities include resolution of production issues 
- Coordinating issue mitigation across cross-functional groups, escalating as needed and communicating to senior management/stakeholders 
- Championing corporate risk event reporting via Event Mgmt System (EMS) 
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable corporate policies, standards   guidelines 
- Representing OBS within Bank Business Risk Office-led initiatives 
- Leading OBS Regulatory Process team â responsibilities include COBIT compliance, OCC regulatory compliance and application monitoring program mgmt 
- Coordinating internal and external Audits and regulatory Examinations impacting OBS 
- Ensuring quarterly COBIT and access control testing is performed; liaise with ITRO office as necessary

Basic Qualifications: 
- 4 year college degree 
- At least 4 years of experience leading compliance, risk management, or audit activities
