Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements to prepare budgets and justify funds requested    Measures and manages training delivered to meet defined goals and strategies    Formulates training policies  programs  and schedules  based on knowledge of identified training needs  company production processes  business systems  or changes in products  procedures  or services    Drive staff participation in new product meetings and the provision of all required training deliverables to the product team    Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training  group instruction  self study  lectures  demonstrations  simulation exercises  role play  and computer based training    Develop  deliver and eLearning   Multimedia   Video   Web based and other alternative training delivery options    Organizes and develops training manuals  reference library  testing and evaluation procedures  multimedia visual aids  and other educational materials    Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training such as new employees  orientation  on the job training  sales techniques  health and safety practices  management development  and adaptations to changes in policies  procedures  and technologies    Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees    Develop and deliver Certification Training courses for all primary products and services  Track performance of trainees and deliver certification documentation as required when required    Prepare company to conduct training in a regulated environment  Diagnostics or Therapeutics    Coordinates established training courses with technical and professional courses offered by community schools    Screens  tests  counsels and recommends employees for participation in internal or external educational and training programs  Train the trainer     Keeps informed on new developments  methods  tools and techniques in the training field  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  Coordinate with RAC s  KAM s  ACE s and their managers other individual contributors to meet their training needs  May directly supervise employees in the future  TBD   Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws  Responsibilities may include interviewing  hiring  and training employees  planning  assigning  and directing work  appraising performance  rewarding and disciplining employees  addressing complaints and resolving problems  Requirements  Master s degree  M S  or M A   or Bachelor s degree  B  A   from four year college or university required  PhD a plus  6 8 years experience in a scientific
