We are seeking a Tech Specialist II: Expediter in Nashville, TN. This position is req&apos;d to support production batch for Technology Services Group, Production Services, and Production Scheduling Services Dept. This position entails providing Scheduling, Request Processing and Queue Management for the Mainframe and Distributed environments spanning across several Production and Test business areas, domestically and internationally. 
Working exp in a Production Delivery Services capacity. Provide tech and admin support with minimal or no supervision. Working knowledge of automated scheduling software such as CA7, CA-11, TWSe, TWSz, Cybermation CA-ESP and Endevor, Remedy. Have a comprehensive understanding of TSO/ISPF, MVS JCL and utilities. This position requires monitoring and reporting job failures in a timely fashion, partaking in the ownership until the failure is resolved. Create and maintain problem tickets using Remedy. Strong communication skills, written and oral, sound judgment and time management skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients (users). Ensure all business/end users are running according to service level agreement. BS (Computer Science) or 4 years of equivalent work experience in a technical environment. Real time management of service levels and forecasting for projected call volumes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure real time management of service levels

Forecast both short and long-term call volumes and staffing needs

Create work schedules, analyze call volumes and patterns
·
Report performance for site, team, and individuals
·
Manage RP staff, career development, manage RP department
·
Maintain staffing levels with qualified personnel
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Resource Planning Manager is responsible for the local Resource Planning team/department, which consists of Resource Planning Analyst and Specialist.
The actual number of direct reports under the RPD Manager depends on the number of staff the office has been allocated.
Typically, there are no less than (8) Resource Planning Specialist and (2) Resource Planning Analyst in the local offices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should have exceptional
knowledge of TCS   CMS,
Proficiency in Excel and Access 
Previous call center experience in workforce planning and management preferred
EDUCATION   EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Bachelor s degree (preferably in a quantitative discipline) or equivalent work experience. 
Experience in managing in a team environment
Working knowledge of Lucent CMS
Proficiency with TCS scheduling software preferred
Experience and understanding of call center dynamics, including staffing, queues, and performance measurements
Proficiency with Excel
Experience with Access and 
Crystal
Reports preferred
Experience in Multi-site call center management desired
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability drive and effectively communicate change
Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude
Ability to act with a sense of urgency to ensure both internal and external customers are served in a timely matter
Proficiency with TCS scheduling software preferred
Working knowledge of Lucent CMS
Ability to analyze call trends and take appropriate action
Sense of urgency in making sure all customers are served in a timely manner

At least three years of call center management or supervisory experience.

Solid understanding of call center operations
