This is for a large automotive manufacturing company in the Torrance, CA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core MQ Project Support existing production portfolio and next
development phase of Core MQ.
eCRM project Sr. UDB DBA to backup/support the primary eCRM DBA.
SQL Server DBA Backup DBA support for various Windows based
applications.
Candidate will work under the supervision of the DBA Group Lead and the
Project Leader for the assigned project
Primary responsibilities:
Optimizes physical design and environment for different data access
methods and performance and monitors performance and provides
recommendations for schema enhancements
Perform capacity planning activities as related to database storage
Assist in optimizing DB performance with front-end tools like business
objects, SAS when they are in use and supports their DB2 UDB repositories
on various distributed platforms
Works closely with Data Architects, ETL team, application development and information delivery teams.
Suggests and implements departmental standards and procedures for
Database administration
Installs and configures DBMS software and maintains software release
levels
Develops, tests and implements backup recovery strategy
Follows division change control and application deployment and access
control procedures
Develops database monitoring procedures and utilities
Coordinate with other DBAs and teams on infrastructure enhancement or
large development projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Must have BA/BS Degree or equivalent and Information Systems or IT experience.
2. Must have experience with all phases of software development life cycle and specifically database lifecycle (8 10 years).
3. Must have at least four to five years experience in the design,development and support of large Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence related
databases and applications.
4. Must have some prior experience supporting applications using SAS and Business Objects is a plus.
5. Must have strong background in Data Warehousing design principles and methodologies (ex. Star schema design) and can apply them as needed.
6. Must have an In-depth knowledge of DB2 UDB (multi-partition), MS SQL Server. 
IBM&apos;s DB2 Universal Database (UDB), which combined DB2 version 2 with DB2 Parallel Edition[1] and is the precursor of the hybrid XML-relational DB2 9.
8. Must have at least 5-6 years experience on DB2 UDB including versions 7 and 8.
9. Must have 4 to 5 years experience with SQL Server including versions of 2000 and 2005.
10. Must be proficient in UNIX scripting.
11. Must have experience in resolving software integration problems
12. Must be knowledgeable on tools and technologies like Websphere, DB2 Information Integrator and MQ Series
13. Candidate must be aware that he/she may be required to do 24x7 production support for the databases.
14. Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written. 
15. Must have experience in the coordination of projects in all phases of
Development cycle with other software development outsource partners.

OVERVIEW:
Software engineers implement real-time, embedded applications. The position involves the design, development and testing of software to support one of the following functions: 1 - hardware control, 2- receiver control and management, 3- resource (hardware) management where hardware is shared by multiple threads in real time processing, 4-chassis bring up or 5- board support package (BSP)/system configuration setup for the ASIP or ASIP-like systems. 
The ASIP and ASIP-like systems consist of multiple chassis with embedded processor operating under VxWorks and Mercury OS to perform airborne signal collection processing. Primarily, the software development is performed in C/C++ on Unix-based systems. Rational Clearcase is used to manage and control the source code. Final grade determination based upon candidates experience and qualifications. 
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Bachelor&apos;s degree in a related field and 2+ years experience. 
2) Entry-level to Mid-level Software Engineer with large project software development experience. 
3) Knowledge of object oriented design and programming techniques. 
4) Experience with C/C++. 
5) Software development on UNIX-based operating systems (Linux, Solaris) and/or MS Windows. 
6) Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
7) Mature, self-motivated and able to work well in a group environment. 
8) U. S. citizenship is required. 
9) An active security clearance, Secret or higher highly preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Security Clearance Required.

OVERVIEW:
This is a 4 day 10 hour/day work week - Network Management Operations Help Desk Technician needed for large telecommunications company will be responsible for determining the cause of trouble and provide technical solutions (for both technical and non-technical audiences) to complex network troubles with a high degree of customer satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Fluent knowledge of IP based internet routing, internet access, TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, Frame Relay, xDSL and PPP

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Apply electronic theory and knowledge to perform operational tests, gather data, analyze faults, and perform repair/upgrade equipment.
Troubleshoot problems and perform repairs, tests, and alignments to equipment, this includes; analog circuitry, digital circuitry and appropriate mechanical adjustments. 
Performs and/or assists in the installation of customer equipment and on site acceptance testing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have experience and/or training with digital and analog circuitry as it applies to power equipment. Previous equipment experience is desired.
2. Ability to read and interpret schematics, specifications, blueprints and other engineering data.
3. Ability to perform troubleshooting relying on empirical means as well as theoretical approach to problem solving.
4. Must be physically able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, move auxiliary equipment on casters, lift and carry heavy parts and sub-assemblies, and be able to perform the above duties indoors and outdoors during inclement weather.
5. Willing to relocate and travel worldwide on short notice.
6. Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance and a U.S. passport.
7. Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record, and be able to drive a service van or rental car.
8. AA degree in electricity/electronics or an equivalent, such as military electronics technical schooling, or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
9. Must have the ability to write routine reports and interpret correspondence.

Our client in the San Diego area is looking for a CATIA Stress Designer/CAD Design Engineer. Will be a member of the CAD conversion team, translating existing CAD data from various CAD packages (mostly Pro-E) to CATIA V5. Responsibilities include translation and verification of solid models and 2D drawings, a portion of which will be fully associated in CATIA V5. 
Required skills:
1. BS Bachelors Degree in AE, ME, or comparable engineering discipline, would be the ideal fit.
2. Must have knowledge and experience (2 years minimum) with CATIA V5 solid modeling and 2D drafting.

Department Responsibilities and Job Responsibilities:
