Provide cross-domain solution (CDS) engineering and technical expertise in support of the DoD Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) Cross-Domain Management Office (CDMO). Identify the need for, and assist in, conceptual development of cross-domain solutions (CDSs) to satisfy documented cross-domain requirements and deficiencies. Perform necessary research to gain a complete understanding of the CDS Science and Technology (S T) landscape and potential application of leading edge technologies within the DODIIS Enterprise. Translate cross-domain requirements into technical specifications, systems requirements, and ultimately, recommended solutions. Integrate CDS engineering results with CD requirements processes to assist in cross-domain configuration management for the DoDIIS community. Conduct review and analysis of specific CDSs focusing on systems requirements, evaluation and testing, operational assessments, technical analysis, and other areas as required and provide recommendations for acquisition and fielding efforts. Evaluate emerging CD research and development efforts for integration into the existing DoDIIS Enterprise. Participate in requirements, modernization, technical, and infrastructure forums with internal and external organizations. Utilize the engineering analysis to depict cross-domain to-be type architecture drawings depicting future enterprise development of cross-domain services

BAE Systems leads the Enterprise Services support for a Defense Agency in Northern Virginia. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable with multi-tasking as needed to accommodate Ad-Hoc type requests by the customer. 
The candidate must be able to perform design for a large scale J2EE/SOA based application. 
The candidate must also be prepared to perform code reviews, design reviews, suggest design alternatives, and develop prototypes. 
*Familiarity with full systems development lifecycle concepts and various methodologies 
*Broad -based familiarity with Java-based development of distributed systems. 
*Familiarity with common Java J2EE frameworks (including JMS and JMX)
