                        <description><![CDATA[The Interpretive Center is located along the west shore of Green Bay, just five miles north of the City of Green Bay. This 925-acre park is maintained as a waterfowl refuge and passive recreation.
Minimum Requirements of Employer:
General knowledge of and/or course work in interpretive skills and methods, natural sciences/resources, exhibit design, display and construction, environmental/outdoor education materials and methods, and personal computer skills. Ideal candidate should possess the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of age and user groups and interact well with the general public and various organizations. Candidate should also be familiar with the operation of hand/power tools, utility tractors and motor driven equipment, including snowmobiles and riding lawnmowers. Should be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Photography, graphic arts and writing skills would be beneficial. Prior enforcement experience helpful. Valid Wisconsin driver&apos;s license required.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
One-year position from starting date, with no expectation of continued employment. This position will assist staff in all aspects of facility operations, including conducting environmental/outdoor educational programming for area schools/organizations, designing and developing interpretive displays/exhibits and conducting interpretive hikes and other educational programs for the general public. The position also assists in maintaining trails, grounds, and facilities as well as care and maintenance of nature center animals. Enforcing Park Department rules/regulations and collecting of fees is also required.

Discharges clients and/or assists in the closing of cases on clients under his/her care in a timely manner. Provides expert testimony in court cases, when required. Assists the Clinical Director in the development, evaluation and implementation of clinical programs. Participates in the organization, meetings, and duties as required; including an equitable share of night and weekend on-call duty. This position is an on-call position and cannot guarantee that any work hours will be made available in a given pay period to the employee.
Minimum Requirements of Employer:
Bachelor&apos;s Degree from an accredited school, plus three years of health care experience, of which at least two were in a supervisory and/or management capacity, and experience working with an interdisciplinary team approach; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
Knowledge and understanding of the general nursing and psychiatric theory and practices including the basic knowledge related to nursing such as biological, physical, social and medical sciences and their applications to the client care programs. Knowledge of social, legal and economic issues affecting the health care system. Knowledge of provisions of Federal, State and local legislation and regulatory body&apos;s standards pertaining to the responsible treatment area. Knowledge of principles of management and supervision. Knowledge of human services system and organization. Knowledge of and ability to utilize a computer and the required software. Ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate total nursing care of multi-disciplinary nursing team. Ability to plan and direct the work activities of the entire Human Services Mental Health Center nursing staff. Ability to problem solve and to make effective, timely decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
In conjunction with emergency authorities and the Crisis Center triages emergency and voluntary admissions for the hospital and emergency protective placement for the nursing home. Coordinate need for medical clearance with referring agencies and assures safety of placement in the facility based on the client&apos;s medical needs. Contact the Medical Director if necessary. Ensure walk-ins are assessed in compliance with EMTALA requirements. Establish positive communication with county agencies, law enforcement both local and with contracted counties. Flex hours to meet the needs of management coverage in the facility 24/7. Provide strategic management leadership in the planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and controlling the overall nursing service delivery system. Participate in the comprehensive employment process of recruitment, selection, evaluation, promotion, supervision, discipline and termination of nursing service staff as appropriate. In conjunction with the Nursing Service Administrators ensures program compliance with State and Federal licensure regulations regarding various services areas, i.e. Hospital and Nursing Home. Demonstrate knowledge of the legal aspects and liabilities of nursing practices. Ensure that nursing staff function within legal boundaries and organizational guidelines.

JOB SUMMARY:

Screens and assesses clients referred for AODA services Develops and implements service plans that provide for appropriate mental health services .Provides primary case management for assigned clients. Complies with all local, state, and federal care through the use of appropriate planning, implementation and evaluation procedures. Participates in evaluation of client needs, strengths and assists in designing supports and interventions. Interviews and completes a bio-psychosocial assessment on each client. Provides counseling/crisis intervention to individuals, couples, and families. Provides linkage to other services or support systems in the Community. Works with a multi-disciplinary team, actively communicating on client needs and problem-solving solutions. Plans, recommends, and implements referrals of clients and their families to appropriate agencies for treatment and follow up .Provides community education; serves as consultant to other agencies, industries, and committees regarding chemical dependency and AODA treatment programs.
