To work with, develop, and effectively integrate fact-based sales solutions, category management and space management initiatives into the organization.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.Assumes role of National Accounts expert of external syndicated data software applications. Trains National Account Team on the use of standard features. 
2.Provides National Account Team/Division Staff with competitive activity and analysis through monitoring of IRI database. Analyzes data on an ongoing basis with CPGN Website and provide training support to NAMâS in the use and implementation of the CPGN website. Identify issues and trends in greater detail than provided through top-level reports in CPGN with the IRI workstation. Utilize all available data sources to provide executive summary to Director and SR VP of National Accounts. Develops and executes market specific presentations to assist field sales branded strategic directives. 
3.Utilizes external syndicated data software applications (IRI, Spectra, etc.) to produce and distribute standard monthly reports and address ad-hoc information requests for retailer/wholesaler presentations, Division meetings, internal business reviews, regional and national chain presentations, scorecards and business reviews. Thorough understanding of developing and executing strategy and tactics of category management. Develop templates, presentations and scorecards for consistent use throughout department and provide training to NAMâS in their use. Be engaged in the National Account selling process with a variety of chains, channels in a variety of regions and geography. Provide validation support in the filed with key chains as the import consultant in analyzing and validating category business plans at the chain level.
4.Develops comprehensive tools such as chain business review templates to assist in the execution of the Category Chain Management Program utilizing IRI data. Develops trimester sales tracking reports that updates the departmentâs sales and distribution verses their plan. Trimester report would detail opportunities for each national Account Manager and roll up to the Director for that geography.
5.Provides analysis of Spectra demographic data to national accounts and division departments for strategic planning. Develops and implements training programs related to Spectra usage for National Account Team. Develops Power Point templates to assist in the execution of National Accounts distribution and sales objectives. Utilize IRI data to support each initiative by Market area.
6.Develops schematics utilizing Intactix space management program to Crown Imports Retail Standards. Develops and implements projects to support Crown Imports designed schematics. Works in conjunction with National Account Managers to achieve account specific space management goals.
7.Develops market specific syndicated data presentations to support strategic or annual Crown Imports objectives. Works with and trains the field sales group in the execution of these program support tools.
8.Completes other special projects and assignments as designated by the Director{s} of National Accounts
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPReports directly to the Regional Chain Director. Provides assistance and support to VP Off Premise Chains for national corporate chain initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED1.A Bachelor&apos;s Degree is required. A minimum of five years experience in the consumer packaged good industry or a syndicated data company.
2.Be the in-house expert with IRI, in-store audit data, applicable market research projects, Intercept Space Management Systems, Retail Link and Spectra, with at least three years hands on experience. Have advanced knowledge of retail sales reporting-Congos systems/availability. Maintain a level of âexpertiseâ in all current systems and gain that same level with any systems additions. 
3.Extensive experience with PC-based software (Excel, WordPerfect, PowerPoint) is required. 
4.Requires strong situation analysis/problem solving skills along with strong knowledge of account planning and analysis, as they relate to distribution, pricing, promotions and profitability. Must understand the strategy and tactics of category management and to provide validation support in the field regarding assortment, pricing, promotion, feature/display support and lift and space initiatives. Must have the ability to establish clear objectives for account analysis projects and be self-initiating to ensure timely completion of requested projects.                         <description><![CDATA[Barton Inc   Our Companies and ProductsÃ National Account Manager  Convenience Stores   Central FLOffice Location Field Sales# of openings 1Division BeersFunctional Area SalesDepartment National Accts Off  CStores DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARYDevelop and execute the annual chain business plan with performance measures for sales  distribution  ad feature display  distribution and schematics  Provide chain performance updates on actual results vs  goal on an ongoing basis to include reviews by month  trimester and annually  Maintain positive working relationships and communications skills with chain buyers  wholesalers and Crown Imports field sales  Execute the chain selling process in utilizing a fact based  analytical selling approach in using all syndicated data and VIP to develop presentations solutions for chain retailers  Manage budget process to ensure that they generate a ROI according to corporate expectations  Maintain a minimum of 25% of time at retail SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1 Assists in developing divisional sales programs  i e   drives  incentives and Value added programs  2 Coordinates all national regional Convenience Store off premise chain accounts activity to include presentations of sales programs  product sales information  new schematics  pricing and business reviews to include category management and fact based selling solutions  3 Introduces and presents new items to include products  drives  incentives  programs and pricing  4 Develops and maintains working relationships with key chain account personnel for Convenience Store off premise accounts  5 Reports all activity to the Director  Convenience Store National Accounts and appropriate field sales Division Managers  6 Develops  maintains  and provides Convenience Store off premise chain buyers with syndicated data sales numbers  VIP  wholesaler pricing information  brand programming  regional activities and sales opportunities on our brands to include the development of annual chain business plans  7 Develops  maintains and provides Director  Convenience Store National Accounts with current off premise chain profiles  Distribution reports and ad summary recaps as well as updated chain recaps  8 Assembles presentation materials and tools in a professional manner for effective sales presentations to national Convenience Store off premise chain accounts and wholesaler network  9 Develops and maintains wholesaler follow through reports for the purpose of correcting and evaluating any execution and sales problems  Develops programs to improve execution and sales problems  10 Manages Barton Tactical Fund and expense budgets in order to maximize use and to generate a return on investment according to corporate expectations  Synchronizes with Field sales initiatives   budgets when applicable  11 Communicates  coordinates and follows through with Regional Managers Division Managers on execution of all Convenience Store chain activity  Assists Regional Managers with wholesaler sales meeting when possible  12 Maintains a minimum of 25% time at retail with Crown Imports Field sales and or National Convenience Store accounts to facilitate distribution drives  display execution and product allocation 13 Performs additional duties and responsibilities as needed REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports directly to the Director Convenience Store  KNOWLEDGE  EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED1 A Bachelorâs degree is preferred plus documented quantitative and analytical experience  2 A minimum of five years of field sales management experience working with wholesalers  distributors in the malt beverage industry is preferred  A minimum of three years experience with a supplier is preferred  3 A minimum of three years of national account management experience exposure  working with chain buyers in the malt beverage industry  is preferred and the candidate must possess skills in category management and fact based selling 4 Must be a self starter with the ability to work with a minimum of direction  Needs to be able to interface with various levels of management at the wholesaler  Crown Imports Field sales and retail level  Must show excellent conflict resolution  negotiation skills  and customer service skills in the work place  5 Must have a thorough understanding of syndicated data and the analytical ability to communicate solutions to key chain customers to improve performance  6 Must have excellent computer skills in Word  Excel  and PowerPoint presentations  Previous Applicants Email Password  If you do not remember your password  Ã Ã   Ã   Ã Ã   Ã Ã   Ã Ã   Ã Ã]]></description>
