Our client is a large service provider for drilling, completion, production and evaluations - for Oil   Gas companies worldwide. Their objective is to help with cost reduction and increase well productivity. 
They are currently looking for a talented General Manager. This is for their location in Edmonton, Alberta. 
The successful candidate will have overall management responsibility for their Cementing Products Manufacturing in Canada. 
a) 5 or 6 direct reports 
b) Total staff - 80 FTEs 
c) P   L responsibility - for an annual revenue of about $30M 
d) 500K finished goods manufactured per year 
e) Manage the 3 facilities in Edmonton - Manufacturing, Assembly and Distribution 
f) Manage their 25 inventory stock points located in Western Canada 
g) Manage their Sales office located in Calgary 
You will be responsible for the following: 
1. You will lead the development of annual operating and capital budgets 
2. You will ensure that business results meet / exceed budget commitments 
3. You will ensure that Operating plans are evaluated on a monthly basis 
4. You will ensure that Production, Inventory and Sales objectives are achieved 
5. You will ensure that measureable objectives are attained in Quality and HSE management systems 
6. These objectives must be communicated and understood by all levels 
7. You will ensure that Key business processes are in place 
8. Good communication levels are maintained amongst functional groups 
9. You will encourage continuous improvement in all areas and at all levels of the organization - that will be the corporate culture 
10. You will provide strategic direction to marketing organization in areas of market share, contract negotiations, pricing and customer service 
11. You will ensure that the organization has adequate resources and capability to attain planned business objectives 
Requirements: 
Â· You have a degree in Engineering - preferably Mechanical 
Â· You have P. Eng designation 
Â· You have an MBA / advanced business degree 
Â· You have proven management experience in Oil   Gas / Manufacturing environment 
Â· Preference will be given to candidates with a background in the Oil   Gas sector 
Â· You have had experience in P   L responsibility 
Â· You have experience in Business Development 
Â· You have experience in Manufacturing 
Â· You have experience in Distribution   Direct Sales 
Â· You have strong leadership skills 
Â· You have sound judgement and decision-making skills 
Â· You are very organized 
Â· You have excellent planning skills 
Â· You are results driven 
Â· You have good PC skills 
Â· You are good with multi-tasking

Our client is seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Manager for their Montreal office. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 
Â· Working in the in the areas of sales accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable. 
Â· Supervising the invoicing process, providing financial reports when needed, reviewing month-end-results and reviewing key performance indicators to insure billing is timely. 
Â· More specifically, you will have to: 
Â· Supervise finance staff in the Invoicing Group; 
Â· Assist in the change management process (system   process designs, training, organizational impacts, restructuring, etc.) in that group; 
Â· Review, evaluate and make recommendations to the Manager to improve the finance processes related to the invoicing functions; 
Â· Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as internal control standards 
The ideal candidate will have: 
Â· You hold a bachelor degree in accounting; 
Â· You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting; 
Â· You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a management/supervisor position; 
Â· You have excellent interpersonal skills; 
Â· You have proven skills in business, analysis and problem-solving; 
Â· You have strong communications skills and are bilingual in both English and French (written and spoken). 
Salary: $60,000 + bonus
