Lead the national business development efforts of PSA-Dewberryâs Corrections Architecture practice. Key responsibilities will be to develop and implement corrections business development plans, strategize major sales strategies, coordinate sales processes and proposals with regional business development initiatives, and monitor various corrections sales and budget reports. Primary objective is to research, analyze and develop winning strategies for the firmâs national correctional architectural practice.

Primary Responsibilities with Related Actions

1. Position PSA-D to win large jail and prison projects.
a. Build a network and relationship with prospective large County and State correctional systems that are anticipating major construction.
b. Place specific business development emphasis on facilities for direct supervision, special needs, re-entry, women, juvenile, and jails with capacity of over 1000 beds.
c. Strategize teaming, proposals and interviews on major pursuits.
d. Coordinate major pursuits with PSA-D regional offices.
2. Expand the national exposure and reputation of PSA-D in the corrections market.
a. Plan and participate in the National AJA and ACA conferences.
b. Lead the efforts to develop appropriate marketing materials.
c. Manage the advertising budget program.
d. Maintain a relationship with national publishers of corrections periodicals to get staff articles published and media coverage for key projects.
e. Coordinate the annual submission of correctional projects to the AIA Academy of Justice Architecture.
3. Assist the Practice Segment Leader in the Annual Business Plan for Corrections Architecture
a. Provide analysis of market trends that can assist in determining annual fee goals.
b. Analyze labor and expense requirements to support annual fee goals.
c. Record and monitor project opportunities, wins and losses.
d. Cultivate opportunities that will expand the geographic market in new office locations.
e. Provide âClient Maintenanceâ feedback to the Practice Segment Leader for Corrections Architecture.
