                        <description><![CDATA[Monitor and maintain system and application performance to meet established business service levels across assigned domains by utilizing Omegamon, TSO, ISPF, CA-7, Netview, CICS, VTAM, PC s Microsoft Word, in addition to other monitors and utilities. Escalate and report on any service levels not met or problems that arise to the Network Operations Center Manager or Operations Specialist II. Work closely with Business Analysts, Systems Programmers, System Engineers and customers to identify and resolve both application and system related problems. 
Address and implement hardware repairs, software fixes, systems or task recycles and processing priorities across assigned system platforms. Assist the Manager in communicating these issues and impacts to the business, management and vendors. Execute ad-hoc request jobs to assist programmers as necessary. Set up schedules and monitor cycle as necessary. Assist the programming personnel with from job abends as necessary. 
Monitor problems with the environmental hardware, such as the UPS system, air conditioners, and fire suppression system, reporting any problems to the manager. Assist in communicating issues and impacts from changes or problems to the business, management and vendors. 
Provide quality customer service via telephone or in person. Support the Helpdesk on issues that are reported via HEAT and by answering phones to help internal and external customers when needed.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2   3 years experience in a high volume, multi-platform, fast-paced processing environment utilizing both mainframe and mid-range systems and software tools. Strong technical experience with JCL, MVS, scheduling packages, and multi-platform PC based environments. 
Must have the ability to understand the technical aspects of computer systems. Ability to understand job flows; interpret computer programming code; perform system analysis and be proficient in the use of TSO/ISPF, JCL, Natural and ADABAS. Ability to determine future needs and utilize resources to meet those needs. Ability to respond to telephone and e-mail requests for assistance. Ability to think clearly and quickly under pressure. Good analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to sit and look at a monitor and concentrate for long periods of time. Good organizational skills. Must be a team player.

                        <description><![CDATA[Under general direction of the manager of a unit in the Applications   Architecture Services Department, the Integration Architect develops and implements architecture support services for the software development organization. Oversees integration of architecture governance and software development best practices into Software Development Life Cycle. Guides standardization initiatives in support of platform agility and flexibility. Leads processes for continuous improvements in software quality and development techniques.
Consults on application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the technical architecture, and identifies when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs.Identifies the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures and culture) and financial impact of the technical architecture.
Analyzes enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive technical architecture focusing especially on process and system integration. Analyzes the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Assists with designing the governance activities associated with ensuring technical architecture compliance.Defines the principles that guide technology decisions for the enterprise.
Oversees or consults on technical architecture (for example, systems) implementation and modification activities (for example, projects), particularly for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions and with a special focus on process and systems integration.Oversees and facilitates the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations.
