The Network/Systems Solutions Architect is responsible for daily operations and maintenance of the multi-petabyte EMC cloud services, with a primary focus on focus on Linux systems and secondary focus on network devices. This position will also participate in on-site builds and initial configuration of new datacenter deployments, lab and QA builds, and design, run and document test scenarios to validate maintenance operations as needed. The Network/Systems Engineer will implement monitoring tools and procedures, respond to on-call notifications of severe events, and work with the SaaS Operations Architecture team to improve the overall reliability and scalability of the services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support datacenter site deployments with network device configuration, rack/stack and software installations:
* Cisco and other switch vendors
* Cisco routers
* Cisco ASA firewalls
* Debian and SuSE Enterprise Linux
* Cabling, power distribution and supporting infrastructure
* Implement updated network architecture to improve security of existing deployments
* Coordinate with vendors to implement network augments and circuit turn-up
* Maintain DNS infrastructure, perform updates
* Configure and maintain monitoring and provisioning systems to ensure all services are monitored:
* Proprietary data collection and monitoring tools
* Trending and reporting
* Daily and weekly review to identify concerns
* Configure and maintain Linux (ldirector/ipvs/heartbeat) and F5 Big-IP load balancers

JOB TITLE: Residency Practice - SAM I
GENERAL SUMMARY:
GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides focus and drives consistency in the execution of all Customer Service-related matters to a strategic account customer. Acts as EMC Customer Service ambassador to the customer and as the customer&apos;&apos;s representative within EMC. Individual leverages the support of local and corporate resources in managing and attaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Identifies, informs, and works with the account team on potential sales opportunities. Nurtures customer relationship and acts as a sales enabler to drive re-purchase loyalty toward EMC equipment and software. The individual ensures maximum correlation between customer requirements and EMC services to strive toward delivering consistent service levels by exceeding customer expectations
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Single point-of-contact for service activities, ensures consistent communication. Manages and coordinates the processing, communication, and implementation of all Customer Service changes, including changes related to customer requests, Field Change Order (FCO), EMC Technical Advisory (ETA), and reconfigurations. Maintains awareness of all service matters including Technical Solutions implementations and activities. Coordinates service activities with EMC account team and local Customer Service resource(s) to ensure all customer needs and expectations are met.
Manages all commercial aspects of the service maintenance contract relationship with the customer. Ensures compliance levels are met in accordance with all maintenance contracted service level agreements. Attends regular review meetings with customer&apos;&apos;s operational personnel team. Participates in the planning, approval, and implementation of approved change management requests.
Develops a joint Account Management Plan (AMP) and execute against that plan in conjunction with Technical Solutions and account team. Maintains high level of awareness of service issues effecting the EMC product environment including proactive problem avoidance behavior and maintenance practices.Prepares and presents Field Change Order (FCO) and EMC Technical Advisory (ETA) materials to the account team and customer. Provides consolidated information in the form of reports on all service related account activity.
Compiles and maintains account information: equipment portfolio, configurations, microcode status, installation dates, lease or purchase information, maintenance coverage levels, contracted coverage dates and renewal schedules. Conducts and leads Customer Service account review meetings with the customer. Identifies, facilitates and ensures effective communication of all technical queries and problem resolution from the customer to corporate resources. Ensures suitable levels of service personnel and activity during problem resolution at all locations.

Title: Senior Software Quality Engineer (TFinder QA)
General Summary
The successful candidate will be working as part of the existing TFinder QA organisation. The Dept. primary responsibilities include sustaining of all existing Symmetrix Enginuity (Microcode) Operating System platforms, including 5670, 5671, 5771 and 5772, and delivering future product releases.
The Timefinder group is responsible for qualifying all Enginuity features related to Local Replication features, including SNAP, Clone, Timefinder, Virtual device operation. The Tfinder group also works on customer recreations dealing with related field issues   DL/DU events when escalated to Engineering.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* EMC Symmetrix software new features/applications, relating to Tfinder/Snap/Clone and qualifying these new features before releasing a new Software/Hardware platform to our customers.
* Develop and conduct various knowledge transfer activities including feature/function presentations, technical content and delivery to internal and customer oriented audiences.
* Follow QA Test procedures to verify Symmetrix Enginuity features.
* Develop test procedures to verify future Enginuity releases.
* Recreate Customer Field issues, following RCA, Root Cause Analysis Procedures.
* Maintain   open OPT problems and ensure information relating to existing problems is kept current and problems are prioritised and worked to resolution.
* Work closely with peers and development teams in Cork, India and Hopkinton to agree workload and escalate issues in a timely manner.
* Perform &apos;freerunning&apos; testing as required.
* Ensure that code testing deadlines are met.
* Assist in maintenance of Lab equipment.
Experience and Education
Minimum BS in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years relevant industry experience.
Skills
Suitable candidates should possess some of the following technical Skillset -
* Knowledge of microcode/Enginuity operating system features, such as Timefinder, SNAP, Clone and SRDF .
* Knowledge of PC software and system software test tools.
* Strong base knowledge of Symmetrix H/W and operation
* Operating Systems knowledge - Unix or W2K
* SymCLI/Host component experience beneficial.
Expectations are that candidates will be at an expert level in some of these areas, with at least basic knowledge   willingness to learn in the others.

* Be self motivated, ability to work under own initiative and require minimum supervision
* Excellent project management skills, with a strong sense of the importance of detail and the ability to follow-through
* Excellent communication skills, with ability to describe complex technical features in a concise manner, both verbally and written, gearing the content at the correct level for your audience
* Ability to work as part of a team, maintaining strong remote relationship with peers based in Corporate and where necessary, lead teams of solutions experts drawn from cross-functional   external departments
* Desire to learn new things and enjoy being involved at the leading end of new product developments where formal documentation is yet to be made available, and being part of the team that delivers this documentation
