Regional Marketing Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for organization, supervision, and execution of all marketing and publicity events, including promotional, charitable, and media events for ESPN Zone Anaheim and ESPN Zone Las Vegas. The position is responsible for creating and implementing promotions and public relations opportunities at his or her sites and managing both siteâs Customer Relationship Marketing programs, including the MVP Club. This position will be located at ESPN Zone in Anaheim.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports To: Straight line report to site General Managers, Dotted line report to FSC Manager of Marketing Strategy   Communications
Direct Reports: Production cast members at both ESPN Zone sites
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations:
Â· Develop, implement and track success of on-site marketing initiatives, promotions and events, seeking approval from the site General Manager and FSC Marketing
Â· Oversee implementation of CRM programs, especially the MVP Club, growing membership and using the program to increase frequency of visitation.
Â· Direct daily work of ESPN Zoneâs public relations firm, prioritizing their projects and reporting back to FSC Marketing on the development of local publicity plans. 
Â· Work with PR firm to pitch local media to cover events, fan reactions, etc. Serve as primary spokesperson for both ESPN Zone sites.
Â· Coordinate quarterly guest exit research program in conjunction with FSC Marketing
Â· Serve as key contact at the sites for all marketing-related private events ([URL Withheld]. ESPN press conferences, etc.), coordinating with the sales and operations teams as necessary
Â· Create and maintain relationships with local business leaders, restaurant industry, civic leaders, sports figures, etc.
Production:
Â· Coordinate and communicate production staff weekly schedules
Â· Create and communicate a bi-annual evaluation for each Production staff member 
Â· Host a quarterly goal-setting and review meeting with the site production staff
Â· Represent production staff during weekly site manager meetings
Â· Provide input and assist with final interviews for new production staff 
Guest Service:
Â· Take an active role in providing a quality guest experience
Â· Ensure the highest level of quality product and service
Human Resources:
Â· Assures that staff morale is maintained at a high level
Â· Takes an active part in the recruitment, training, and retention of cast members
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Â· Minimum of five â seven years of marketing management experience
Â· Bachelorâs degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent
Â· MBA a plus
Â· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
Â· Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
Â· Interest and/or knowledge of sports and ESPN
Â· Working knowledge of media relations

Guest Service:

· Ensure proper condition and replacement of high chairs   boosters
Busser Department Manager:
· Maintain employee break room standards and organization. 
· Maintain inventory of padded dining table covers. 
· Manage trash-raking system, if applicable.
Bar Department Manager:
· Manage liquor inventory and ordering procedures.
· Manage liquor cost within budget.
· Ensure bar staff follow pour testing procedures.
· Manage on-going TIPS training, along with Training Manager.
Sports Arena Department Manager:
· Work closely with FSC Arena Manager regarding game placement, game change-out, etc.
· Monitor 19th Hole operations and ensure quality of service and product 
Retail Department Manager:
· Work closely with FSC Retail Manager to ensure proper stock levels, deliveries, new product items, product 
merchandising and displays
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Two years of restaurant management in high volume environment
· Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff

                        <description><![CDATA[The Assistant AV Systems Manager primary responsibilities are to oversee the day-to-day technical support and maintain 100% operational status of each ESPN Zoneâs AV System; technical support of the Production staff and occasional Facilities related projects. The Assistant AV Systems Manager is also responsible for maintaining the entire AV System to component level; as well as assisting the sites with training Production cast members at the sites, maintaining Zone Art, performing regular site review evaluations for both Production and Facilities departments and on-site project management of AV Systems projects and occasional facilities capital projects. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide primary assistance to the AV System Manager by assisting with weekly reports, bi-annual evaluations, budget creation, budget management and any other duties/tasks as assigned to assist the AV Systems Manger. Position will be required to report feedback and updates on a regular basis.
Act as a liaison between ESPN Zoneâs Regional Marketing Managers and Production Staff with regards to maintaining and operating the AV Systems. 
Provide primary AV support for marketing events, sales events and any type of special events held at ESPN Zone sites. Some events may require travel and on-site management.
Provide primary support in executing and managing all national and local service contracts at all ESPN Zone sites.
Project management of AV Projects and any other projects assigned.
Provide any type installation, modification, upgrade and repair as required to maintain and improve the overall AV System. Applicable to all nationwide locations.
Regular visits to each ESPN Zone site to evaluate performance and monitor operational status of the AV System, site production and facilities departments.
Help create and manage budgets, declining budgets and analysis reports, as required.
Provide training for Production staff of the proper use of the AV Systems â establish certification standards and levels of certification.
Create and maintain troubleshooting steps and manuals for simple AV systems for the Production Techs to perform to resolve minor AV problems.
Create and maintain written training manual for use to train new Production staff employees on the daily operation of the AV System, by Production managers and Production Leads.
Create and maintain written operational instructions for normal operation, for Special Events setup and for Live Shot Events of the AV Systems.
Minor Maintenance repair of Projectors and Projector re-lamping for all locations.
Ordering of replacement equipment and installation of equipment to maintain operational status.
Create a Preventive Maintain Schedule for AV equipment and perform preventive maintenance on AV systems at all locations. 
Troubleshoot AV Systems to determine defective device and perform necessary repairs to restore AV Systems. 
Assist with the design, evaluation and implementation of new AV Systems and system components
Creation of purchase orders, data entry into SAP, order tracking, logistics planning and invoice closeout
Other duties, task or responsibilities assigned to be applicable within A/V, Production and Facilities. 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelorâs degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
Specific AV Project Management or AV Installation Supervisor experience and technical proficiency with large commercial AV Systems is a must.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, at the same time.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Production Tech or as Commercial AV Technician (installation and / or service on very large AV Systems).
Minimum of 5 years experience troubleshooting and repairing AV Systems with HDTV monitors, HDTV Satellite and HD Cable systems, AV Control Systems, AV Switchers, AV Computers, all types of source devices and Audio Processors. 
Proficient computer skills: Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel and SAP 
(Prefer SAP Super User certification)
PC knowledgeable and proficient in the use of AV systems software. (Crestron, Soundweb, Media Matrix and similar software)
Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision and to be a motivated self starter.
Previous employment in technical position or AV Installation   Service Company preferred. 
Strong sports interest and knowledge of ESPN branding
Frequent Travel Required
Travel requirements for position requires approximately 40 % travel
