About the Job
Our client is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team. This position is part of a three person team supporting a Senior Partner at a very prestigious downtown law firm. The hours for this position are 
8am â 4pm.
Responsibilities:
Tax Breakfast
(approx 18 seminars/yr) 
Coordinate, set up and attend tax breakfast seminars both internally and externally 
Handle reconciliation of all seminar/ annual membership fees 
Ensure timely production and distribution of promotional material relating to the seminars
Articles   Article Binders
Keep track of deadlines for all publications and ensure the timely publication of all articles 
Maintain and update all article databases   listings (incl. Taxline, Tax Notes, Tax Profile, and Tax Highlights) 
Updating binders with most recent articles and ensuring all appropriate contacts received same
Marketing Trips
Coordinate hotel, flight, dinners, appointments 
Secure appointments with potential clients 
Prepare and distribute appropriate invitations, book appointments/meetings, plan/coordinate appropriate events (i.e., dinners, cocktail parties, etc.) 
Preparation of Thank You letters in advance 
Remotely handling all and any issues while lawyer is abroad
Conferences/ Speeches
(ABA (American Bar Association) /IBA (International Bar Association) /IFA (International Fiscal Association) 
Register appropriate firm attendees 
Coordinate Firm marketing initiatives in relation to the above conferences/speeches â typically Firm sponsored dinners with 100 attendees including â invitations, menus, dinner location, guest transportation, etc.
Contact Management
Maintain, update and organize contacts both current and incoming 
Follow up with contacts, where necessary, and add them to the appropriate Marketing lists 
Distribute article binders to appropriate new contacts
Miscellaneous
Requirements:
3-5 yrs previous experience in a similar role (event coordinator/ administrative coordinator) 
Successful completion of post secondary education in a related program 
Extreme attention to detail   highly organized 
Ability to multitask and prioritize 
Self motivated with a strong sense of initiative 
Professionalism and excellence in communication skills, both written and verbal 
Positive and flexible attitude 
Self confident with strong judgment and common sense

About the Job
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst for a one year contract position for their Project Management Team. 
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) within the firms&apos; Information Technology Team, reporting to the Director Project Management. The primary responsibilities of this role are to elicit, analyze and document business and functional requirements, including data flows, data dictionaries and data models resulting in changes to business processes and systems. 
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Analyst within a professional services organization 
Exposure to working within legal services an asset 
Excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of enterprise business analysis including identity management and application integration architecture 
Experience with business process modeling including prototypes and use cases 
Experience in problem definition; feasibility assessment and requirements elicitation 
IIBA Certification an asset 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated ability to match content, style and language to suit the audience and context, maximizing understanding 
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and conceptualize solutions

DUTIES   RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for current and new projects, which may include process and data flows, data dictionaries and data models 
Write detailed Business Requirements and Proposals 
Work closely with clients and system end-users to identify and document their business and functional requirements 
Produce design deliverables like Activity, State Machine, Use cases, Sequence and Dataflow diagrams 
Contribute to solution blueprints and architecture specifications 
Coordinate and conduct requirements gathering workshops and produce associated deliverables 
Analyze, capture and document business and system requirements, and suggest solutions/options to solve the problems 
Identify, gather and report on technologies available from external vendors to assist in evaluating technology solutions to meet business objectives 
Develop and implement appropriate test plans and strategies 
Contribute to the ongoing development of Business Analysis methodology, process and documentation 
Work with teams to ensure the business requirements are met in the suggested technical solution
