About the Job
Our Project Managers work independently in managing the engineering, procurement and construction support for projects in oil sands mining, extraction, tailings, utilities, and upgrading sectors with values of up to $300 million. Our Project Managers have strong client relationships and work to improve project team delivery and to remove obstacles to ensure that customer satisfaction, quality, scope, schedule and budget targets are met.
Successful candidates will have relevant experience, an engineering degree and will be eligible for registration with APEGGA. EPCM experience in oil sands and large-scale gas/petro-chemical facilities is preferred. Candidates with technical qualifications including relevant project management training will also be considered. Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills are also required.
Positions are based in Edmonton and some travel to the Syncrude site is necessary.
