Responsible for assigned day-to-day activities of the Westborough site Quality Systems as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager. This includes facilitating quality procedures for as requested; tracking data in assigned systems; and interacting with other site functions to develop, implement and maintain the site Quality Management System within the Life Sciences system.
*Maintains and monitors key quality systems (non-conformances, deviations, investigations, CAPA), which includes the review of trended data to identify areas for improvement
*Conducts compliance training 
*Actively participates in external, internal, and vendor audit program
*Represent the department during client audits, if needed
*Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures as required
*Provides guidance for staff in the accomplishment of QA operational activities
*Interacts with personnel from all departments to ensure QA compliance
*Assists in the scheduling and maintenance of QA activities and systems
*Other general activities as assigned Qualifications
*Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance function.
*Knowledgeable in Quality Compliance, capable of managing under a broad range of standards and regulations, including GMP and the ISO 9001/13485 standards. Areas of emphasis include: 
*Applying Corrective and Preventative Action to processes 
*Handling of complaint processes 
*Conducting internal and external audits
*Developing and monitoring key process or business performance indicators.
*Developing and implementing quality management processes.

The Associate General Counsel for GE Healthcare IT will be a key member of the executive management team forr the Enterprise Solutions business. This key role will be responsible for providing strategic legal support related to th is dynamic business segment of GE Healthcare IT . Will include working closing with the business team to develop legal templates and processes for new business and commercial models, working with the business to translate new Healthcare IT legislation and regulations into market leading business models, and structuring, negotiating and closing of highly structured commercial alliances with key strategic partners and customers to achieve key business objectives. Additional responsibilities will include: the structuring, negotiating and closing of high stakes intellectual property development, sharing and licensing, hosting arrangements, distribution agreements, global ventures, advising on cutting edge legal issues being raised by the development and licensing of clinical content, electronic medical records and revenue cycle management , including under global medical device regulations, practice of medicine regulations and Medicare/ Medicaid and federally funded healthcare programs, advising the business on regulatory, privacy, data security, antitrust , intellectual property and advertising/promotional matters, supply chain matters, assisting the business in structuring partner programs and defining legal strategies and policy for exciting novel legal issues being raised by the use of financial and clinical IT. 
We are looking for this key member of the business to join our IITS team in the Seattle area. The position will report to the General Counsel of GE Healthcare IT.
Qualifications
This position is open to both internal and external candidates.
JD (or equivalent) from top law school 
-Active bar membership 
-Minimum 7 years of business law experience at a premier law firm or corporate legal department, including but not limited to high impact commercial transactions (i.e., purchase, sale and distribution agreements), software licensing and/or M A. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. 
-Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization (including our field sales force and GEHC&apos;s and our customers&apos; senior leadership teams). 
-Ability to function as an integral member of both the GE Healthcare Enterprise Solutions leadership team and the GEHC Global Legal function, as well as effectively leverage outside counsel. 
-Ability to work well independently and in a team setting, and should possess superior analytical and drafting skills, the ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and effectively and to make on the spot risk calls. 
-Ability to prioritize conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast paced environment. 
-Ability to oversee outside counsel when brought in to assist.
