Coordinate, help direct, as well as perform, all required functions from initiation of an intent to purchase through to satisfactory delivery of material or services.
Assure that material/services will be delivered on schedule, at negotiated price and meet required quality standards.
Initiates necessary action to assure best value is received, customer delivery requirements are met, and address any manufacturing problems at supplier&apos;s facility.
Achieve lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs.
Solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations; implement purchase contracts following applicable company and government regulations.
Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and plan programs to meet business needs.
Provide coordination and leadership in procurement activities for assigned commodities, including development to Small Disadvantaged Business. Signature:
Job Requirements
Qualifications: 
Bachelor&apos;s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a sourcing environment).
At least 3 years of experience in a sourcing position, including negotiation involvement.

* As directed, consolidate procurement activities for assigned commodities, including development to Supplier Database sources.
* Maintain \&quot;timely\&quot; control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other required documents to assure orderly administration and retention of records.
* Coordinate training of suppliers to accomplish business initiatives and develop competitive manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor&apos;s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Sourcing role).
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* This position requires access to controlled technology. To abide by Export Compliance regulations candidates must have either US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident Alien Status.
* Willingness to travel to suppliers up to 20% is required.

* Aerospace background, international sourcing and knowledge of FARs.
* Minimum of 1 year experience in an MRP or ERP environment.
* Experience with metal products including mechanical fabrications, housings and bearings.
* APICS or ISM certification.
* Ability to read blueprints.

* Coordinate forecasted costs and set standard costs.

The Mechanic has the opportunity to:
* Analyzes malfunctions and direct the repair of a variety of multi-purpose electronic and/or electro-mechanical control systems of industrial equipment such as NC / CNC, mini-computers, microprocessors, AC/DC drives and process controllers; to install, maintain, or modify such systems.
* Reviews schematics, wiring diagrams, performance specifications and manufacturers manuals.
* Arranges a variety of highly sensitive, precision electronic test tools and equipment and conducts a series of involved functional and operational tests.
* Operates machine through necessary cycles to check electronic and/or electro-mechanical systems and detects any variations from specifications.
* Makes critical adjustments, throughout the tests, in the values and settings of the components and the related equipment in order to properly align and tune highly sensitive inter-related circuits and electro-mechanical systems.
* Analyzes results of the tests to locate and determine the cause of the malfunction.
* Replaces, or directs the replacement of, faulty parts and/or wiring of the unit and retests the system or systems as necessary.
* Plans operations involved and installs electronic and/or electro-mechanical equipment of the complexity described above; performs periodic maintenance on this type of equipment.
* Modifies existing electronic and/or electro-mechanical control systems or combinations of systems to incorporate latest designs and/or to include new functions within the control of the system; establishes arrangement and location of components to eliminate electronic interference, provide for proper heat dissipation and provide for ease of maintenance.
* Tests, analyzes malfunctions, modifies, repairs, adjusts and maintains automatic control instruments and related recording devices used in the operation of industrial manufacturing equipment such as aging ovens, heat treat tanks and furnaces.

The Contracts Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise.
* Lead an organization of various levels of contract personnel and perform as principle contracts focal point for high visibility or critical programs. 
* Effectively interface with all functions of the business including Manufacturing, Program Management, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Legal. 
* Provide advice and counsel to other functional areas. 
* Provide creative solutions/alternatives to meet client requirements. 
* Review processes to improve overall efficiency. 
* Facilitate contract compliance by insuring proper communication of requirements. 
* Lead organization by providing guidance and counsel to other employees.
Qualifications
* Bachelor&apos;s degree from an accredited university or college. 
* At least 5 additional years of experience in government or international contract formation and execution.
Desired
* Bachelor&apos;s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
* At least 10 years of experience with the pricing, negotiations and administration of US Government contracts.
* Detailed knowledge of policies and regulations related to government contract information, negotiation, administration, and the USG procurement policy development process.
* An understanding of state, local, commercial and international contracting business environment.
* Maintains currency in professional field(s) through self study, attendance at professional seminars and courses, through private educational opportunities (as applicable), placing special emphasis on trends, issues, laws and regulations.
* High-energy team player and builder, with strong interpersoanl skills and ability to develop cooperative relationships.
* Extensive knowledge of contract formation and regulations.
* Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex contractual issues.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
