Merchandising Execution Area Supervisors (MEAS) directly supervise the activities of Merchandising Execution Associates (MEAs) as they merchandise and maintain various product sets in The Home Depot retail environment to enhance the customer experience, increase sales, and maximize inventory turns. MEASs direct the work priorities of MEA teams based on the directives of the Merchandising Execution Manager (MEM), while building and maintaining strong relationships with HD store personnel to execute merchandising strategy. MEASs service a multi-store territory which will require daily travel to different store locations. 
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Supervise the work activities of MEAs within his/her area. Communicate store and MET objectives to MEAs. Train and develop MEAs within the work team, through the management of training calendar and curriculum execution. Participate in the interview process for hiring of new MEAs and partner with MEM on recommendations. Provide input into appropriate discipline decisions related to MEAs. Provide input to the MEM on performance appraisals of MEAs and make recommendations on promotion of associates in his/her area. Engage in coaching and development for MEA team members. Assist MEAs with merchandising bays, set compliance with planogram, replacing labels, pack down, and building displays.
Partner with store leaders to execute merchandising strategies. Direct the activity of the MEA team in his/her area related to and ensures execution in relation to MET standards. Monitor set compliance with planogram, ensure merchandise is displayed in a neat and appealing manner. Direct the team during pack down activities, display builds and merchandising activities. Ensure that POP and signage is ordered and properly set according to planogram. Partner with store leadership to markdown all damaged or un-sellable merchandise. Provide direction on cross-merchandising activities in accordance with Merchandising Action Planner (MAP).
Direct the MEA team in the execution of seasonal resets.
Drive execution of one-off projects as required by store, district, and regional leadership. 
Utilize store systems to access key merchandising reports. Read, interpret, and execute action based on findings. 
Partner with store representative to conduct inspections of returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor. 
Nature and Scope
Typically reports to Merchandising Execution Manager (MEM)
Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. Planning, monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required. This may include direct supervision of a shift or the coordination of multiple work groups. Makes recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development.
Environmental Job Requirements
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors. 
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass the Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.
Education Required
The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or G.E.D.
Years of Relevant Work Experience - 2
Physical Job Requirements
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. 
Additional Qualifications
Must pass drug test, background screen and all relevant pre-employment tests where applicable.
Must have a valid state drivers license and proof of insurance

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - 
Maintains, upgrades and supports existing systems on a regular basis to ensure operational stability for user groups.
Identifies new and existing system requirements and installs the necessary hardware and equipment infrastructure (power, cables, etc.) to meet these requirements.
Keeps abreast of all innovations and changes to Home Depot systems to ensure having the appropriate tools and training to provide quality support.
Provides end-user training on systems to maximize operator efficiency and increase speed and accuracy of customer service.
Provides customer support by answering end-user questions and maintaining a presence at a help desk or other customer point of contact.
NATURE AND SCOPE - 
Typically reports to a Manager, Assistant Manager or Team Lead.
Typically does not supervise others.
May support a wide variety of user groups depending on department.
Typically has frequent contacts outside the workgroup.
Typically assignments follow existing routines or instructions.
Typically considers among several options and past practice when solving problems.
Typically there is some leeway for changing the order of assigned tasks. Prior approval is required before dealing with unassigned tasks.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - 
Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult situations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - 
Basic Unix/ VI skills, SQL, HTML or Web authoring tool, Great Customer Service Skills, professional writing skills. Experience supporting retail store infrastructure, POS, Computers, Printers. LAN devices.
EDUCATION REQUIRED - 
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 1+

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - 
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

                        <description><![CDATA[Position Purpose - The District Pro Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and service of our professional business customers. This experienced home improvement specialist will monitor service levels, assist in maintaining in-stock merchandise levels and developing new leads in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will possess five years of home improvement management experience in an assistant manager or store manager capacity. They will also be self-motivated, have the ability to work on their own, have solid prioritizing and organizing skills, ability to juggle many priorities at one time and have excellent people management skills.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Maintain consistent standards for Pro Program in the District.
- Ensures consistency between Pro Stores within the District.
- Raises the bar for all Pro Stores in the District to grow the Pro Business.
- Monitor the effectiveness of each Pro Desk to identify areas for improvement and set each Pro Team&apos;s goals accordingly.
- Establishes a consistent system in each store for managing accounts and tracking sales and works with each Pro Department Supervisor.
- Conducts weekly Sales Meeting with each Pro Team.
- Coordinates Pro events (e.g. contractor breakfasts) that are well-planned and effectively drive sales.
- Assesses the progress of each Pro Desk, identifies strengths and weaknesses and reports status to DM and DPM.
- Shops competition regularly to ensure Home Depot is offering competitive prices and the best merchandise mix.
- Builds Relationship with Pro Customers in District.
- Builds relationships with top customers in the market and acts as the District point-person for issues related to Pro (e.g. national accounts, credit programs).
- Develops Talent.
- Provides input to the Sales ASMs and Store Managers on the hiring, training and development of Pro Department Supervisors to build a customer-focused, knowledgeable and driven Pro Sales team that continually meets and exceeds the Pro Customer needs.
- Sets clear short-term and long-term goals for each Pro Sales Team in each Pro Store within the District.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Minimum Qualifications -
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test. Must pas the Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.
Education Required - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
