The primary purpose of the Collections Associate is to reduce and/or eliminate financial losses due to delinquency or unpaid balances of all products offered by ING DIRECT. 
Essential Functions: 
Accept inbound and make outbound telephone calls to negotiate with borrowers to resolve delinquency situations 
Assist borrowers with workout solutions to payment delinquencies, financial hardships and mortgage defaults 
Record all collection activity in the appropriate collection systems, document the current status of delinquent loans and continuously follow up for pertinent documentation 
Work in a goal-oriented environment to achieve individual and team performance targets 
Assist in fraud identification and prevention efforts 
Perform detailed skip tracing when necessary 
Collect data and prepare management reports

The Fraud Transaction Monitoring Lead will ensure that the Wire and Account Monitoring teams achieve short and long term objectives to reduce fraud losses by efficiently and effectively investigating, preventing, detecting, analyzing, reporting and recovering losses. 
Essential Functions:
*Provide the day-to-day management oversight of all wire and account monitoring department activities
*Responsible for the appropriate staffing of the department as well as handling employee related issues, performance reviews and staff development 
*Establish and maintain an effective and pro-active Fraud monitoring program
*Continually work to deliver efficiencies to processes, which improve the costs, quality and productivity of the department
*Perform monthly reviews of fraud reporting and recommend changes where appropriate
*Envision and articulate opportunities for change; control costs; develop and execute strategies to mitigate fraud risk
*Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to fraud detection and investigation

The Closing unit is responsible for the preparation of loan documents and the funding of loans in accordance with the Policies and Procedures established by Wholesale Loan Operations. 
Job Summary:
The Loan Closer is responsible for the completion of the loan closing process for Wholesale loans. Responsibilities include generating complete and accurate closing documents in a timely manner, providing status information to Settlement Agents, preparing and initiating wire requests for loan proceeds, reviewing HUD1 for compliance and acceptance, reviewing executed loan document packages for completion and acceptance, and notifying Settlement Agents of deficiencies. 
Essential Functions:
* Prepare loan documents within department guidelines/standards ensuring accurate delivery to closing agents.
* Calculate and prepare wire requests for loan proceeds.
* Review HUDs for accuracy and compliance. Complete the HUD process, including working with 3rd party vendor to obtain HUDs and confirm final funding figures prior to closing.
* Review executed loan documents for completeness and compliance.
* Provide internal and external customer service by phone, mail, fax or email.

Wholesale Loan Operations is the department within Wholesale Lending that comprises processing, closing and post closing. The Loan Coordinating unit is responsible for completing the processing requirements of loan origination.
The Loan Coordinator reviews, analyzes, and determines the acceptability incoming loan file documentation, providing loan status to Brokers and other interested parties, ordering appropriate verifications and reviews as specified in the credit decision, confirming loan terms and price, coordinating closing terms, and validating loan documents to approved loan terms in the various processing/pipeline management systems of ING Bank in accordance with the Policies and Procedures established by Wholesale Loan Operations.
