Territory to include Washington, Oregon, and if you are really hungry and driven by sales, Alaska as well! -Responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing business opportunities to support new revenue growth for the Seattle to Portland territory. -Develop and implement sales strategies for new account prospects, focusing primarily on higher margin business prospects and new business opportunities within active and inactive accounts. -Work with the Managing Director to plan, conduct, and follow up on sales calls. -Drive activity/results through the leveraging and consistent application of best practice sales processes and initiatives. -Develop account sales plans/approaches with the Managing Director on target prospect and active accounts (to be determined by the Regional Director). -Identify, prospect and develop sales strategies to secure new business in the IT/Engineering verticals. Additionally grow existing active/inactive business. - Conduct sales calls, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, in-office demonstrations, direct mail campaigns, and follow up activity coordinated within that plan/approach. -Function as primary sales resource on identified business, higher gross profit margin target accounts and responsible for creating the account plan and coordinating the approach and communication strategy with the Managing Director on these accounts. -Work closely with recruiting team to identify types of business the team is most likely to fill successfully. -Facilitate the effective presentation of submittals in order to increase the success rate of filling the orders from a new customer. -Meets regularly with the Managing Director to review/coordinate sales efforts to ensure continued focus and success in meeting and exceeding individual and area sales activity and revenue targets set by Regional Director. -Develop strategic solution oriented sales plans to increase business within key accounts and partners with field management to implement. -Partners with product subject matter experts to enhance/supplement product knowledge and plans/presentations as needed to close deal. -Work closely with the National Account team in growing opportunity within the accounts in their assigned territory.
