Ability to understand and implement latest finite element and numerical algorithms 2. Be able to develop new functionalities and extend/enhance existing ones in : Element Development, Material Modeling, Contact and Friction, Solution Algorithms, Solvers (Direct sparse and Iterative) Areas of interest include (but not limited to) : Structural, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Electrical/Electromagnetics, Acoustics, Coupled Physics 3. Identify and fix bugs 4. High level support to application engineers 5. Be able to write documentation/reports and make good presentations QUALIFICATIONS A Ph.D in Mechanical, Applied Mechanics, Civil, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent is required. Candidates must have experience in the following; 1. FORTRAN programming 2. Good engineering skills with mechanics/mathematics background 3.
