Job Responsibilities: 
The Mechanical Design Engineer will create designs using Pro-Engineer Wildfire models, layouts and drawings, for land energy systems. 
Design activities include conceptual design creation, design layouts, systems design and integration, and fabrication process identification. 
Tasks include preparation and maintenance of design models and drawings and associated documentation. 
Our Mechanical Design Engineer researches, develops, analyzes, designs, and supports fabrication of components using engineering and scientific principles. 
Candidate must have knowledge of all types of manufacturing processes and will represent the company at outside suppliers.Â¿0 
Candidate will create 3-D engineering models, equipment layouts, Piping   Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and drawings and submit these to other engineering and manufacturing disciplines for review and analysis. 
Candidate will be required to analyze and verify piping system design and performance for adequacy and reliability. 
Candidate will be required to be knowledgeable in piping and insulation specifications. 
They must be able to interface well with other members of project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives. 
Applicant will prepare and present design review packages to program management, customers both internal and external, consortium team members, and critical design review boards.Â¿0 
B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent required. A minimum of 10 years direct related experience in the design of mechanical elements and machine components. An MSME or equivalent with 8 years will also be considered. 
*Minimum of 10 years experience in system design with a BSME, or 8 years experience with MSME, is required. 
CAD and PDM experience   skills required. 
Strong oral and written skills are required. 
Candidate must be a self-starter, creative, and highly motivated individual and ready to work in a very challenging work environment. 
*Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is required.
